How It Works

A clear guide from install to your first match.

Step 1

Install and sign in

Setup

  1. Install ArenaAnywhere (Android)
  2. Sign in and choose your username
  3. Keep PPSSPP installed and updated
Tip: Use a consistent username so friends can find you quickly.

Find an opponent

Two options

Quick Match

  • Use matchmaking to find a player
  • Best for casual or ranked sessions

Play with friends

  • Add friends by username
  • Challenge and rematch anytime
Tip: If your network is unstable, prefer Wi‑Fi for more consistent sessions.

Step 3

Connect and play

Connection

  1. Both players enter the match lobby
  2. Follow the connection steps in the app
  3. Copy the displayed IP details

PPSSPP networking

  1. Open PPSSPP → Settings → Networking
  2. Enable networking/WLAN
  3. Host: enable “Built‑in PRO ad hoc server”
  4. Guest: set host IP under “Change PRO ad hoc server IP”
  5. Start the match in eFootball/PES using Ad‑hoc
Done: If one setup fails, swap host/guest and retry once before troubleshooting deeper.
